I know there are tons of people psyched on the Nokia n900 out there right now, but it seems hard to get people talking on a brand new forum. To add a little incentive to early community joiners, let's have a fun little raffle and get people talking. (Join this forum by clicking the "Register" link up at the top.)
The "let's build n900 hype" raffle: the first ten members with ten quality posts will be entered into a drawing. The random winner (1/10 chance!) will get a $20 Amazon gift certificate for n900 accessories, or whatever they want I guess. The drawing will take place and the prize will be awarded as soon as ten members make ten quality posts.
The "let's reward our forum elders" contest: Additionally, I'll keep track of when people reach 20 quality posts. The first person to contribute 20 posts, if they're still an active and contributing member in one month (October 7) will be awarded another $20 Amazon certificate.
Rules:
1) A quality post:
a) can be a new topic or a reply
b) is relevant, on-topic, and contributes to discussion of the n900
c) is more than one sentence, but can be as long as you want
d) is determined by me
2) I'll probably hit both of those benchmarks first, but I'm not eligible to win. :)
